SUCCESSFUL CHEMOTHERAPY AGAIN!

21st December 2011:   Successfully completed my 3rd course of 6 cycles of chemotherapy! Yesterday  I was given the fantastic news that my CT scan is virtually clear, except a few very much reduced, 1mm size spots on the liver, which are on their way out, and can be considered well and truly zapped after today's final infusion! I am still amazed and overawed by the miracle of science and the quality of care given to me by my expert team at St. Luke's Cancer Centre in Guildford. I am extremely grateful to have my life back again.

25th December 2011:  Dubious about travelling only 4 days after chemotherapy, but nevertheless Mick and me went to his brother's for Christmas Day. I took all the usual anti-emetics and steroids as a precaution so as not to ruin everyone's lunch! Apart from being extremely tired, and having to rest on the sofa in between the main course and the Christmas pudding, I thoroughly enjoyed the food and company!
